DeRidder Lions Club Annual Pro Rodeo: This event is held in April of each year at the Beauregard Parish Covered Arena on Hwy. 190 West.  For more information please call 337-463-5090.

 

Treasure Fest: The Treasure Fest is a bargain hunters dream.  Located under the tall pines in West Park, you are sure to find a bargain or two.  This event is held the first Saturday of May.  For more information please call 337-463-5534.
 
 SWLA All Veterans' Reunion & Festival: The Veterans' Festival is held every year on the 3rd Saturday in May on Downtown Washington Ave. This event features military static displays, musical performances, entertainment, shopping and fireworks over downtown. Beauregard Parish Fair: The Beauregard Parish Fair is one of the oldest agricultural fairs in the State of Louisiana.  The parish fair is held in October of each year.  For more information please call 337-462-3135.

 

Ragley Heritage & Timber Festival: Experience the magic and take a stroll back through time at the Ragley Heritage & Timber Festival with presentations on pioneers of the area and the history of the town.  This is event is held in October of each year.  For more information please call 337-463-5534.

 

Wings & Wheels Fly In-Drive In: There will be aviation exhibts, military displays and a classic car & motorcycle show, along with much more.  This event is held in November of each year.  For more information please call 337-238-1024.

DeRidder Gem & Mineral Show:  Come and enjoy some of the best hidden treasures in Louisiana.  The show offers anything from minerals, gemstones, jewelry and Indian artifacts.  This event is held in December of each year.  For more information please call 337-463-5534.

 

Christmas in the Park: Watch West Park as it turns into a Winter Wonderland with thousands of Christmas lights, snow village, and Santa’s Workshop.  Visitors can enjoy a train ride, a cup of hot chocolate while waiting to see Santa Claus.  This event is held in November of each year.  For more information please call

Beauregard Watermelon Festival

Beauregard Parish, home of the Sugartown Watermelon, will celebrate the taste of the season with its Annual Watermelon Festival at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds in DeRidder, Louisiana.  There will be a host of watermelon games and events, as well as live music and entertainment.  Come and taste some of the sweetest watermelon in the south at the Beauregard Parish Watermelon Festival.

Merryville Heritage Festival

The festival features theater, folk life, music, dance and fine art, which demonstrates the unique culture heritage of Louisiana’s "No Man’s Land” area.  This event is held the last weekend in March.  For more information please call 337-463-5534.

 

The Four Winds Pow WowFour Winds Tribe Louisiana Cherokee Confederacy are desendants of American Indians who migrated to and settled in the western portion of Louisiana beginning in the mid 1700's and extending to the mid 1800's.
