National Night Out will be from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds in DeRidder. This is a free, community-police event that will feature fun for all ages. There will be games, music, cash prizes, food trucks, vendors, a car show, tug-of-war, a working dog demonstration, fireworks and more. Throughout the week, there will also be special events as part of “NNO Week,” including an Escape Room at the Gothic Jail, a Catfish Cook-off, Cones with Cops, Books with the Blue, and more.
